Wafaifo Resort in Hoi An Redefines Tourist Technology Wellness with Innovative Health and Spa Program – Travel And Tour World

The upcoming Wafaifo Resort in Hoi An, Vietnam, set to open on September 1st, is unveiling an ambitious three-phase health and spa program aimed at significantly enhancing wellness, spa, and medical offerings for tourists in the region.

Utilizing cutting-edge health technology and international partnerships, the resort will provide visitors to Hoi An and the wider Danang area with access to an array of wellness and spa services previously unavailable in the central region of Vietnam.

Epigenetic Testing:
Beginning September 1st, guests at the new 134-room lifestyle resort can utilize the Wellness at Wafaifo facility for a comprehensive health assessment through epigenetic testing. This process involves the analysis of hair follicles by an S-drive computer, which connects to a laboratory in Germany. Within minutes, guests receive a detailed 30-plus page report evaluating 800 personal markers.

The results, presented graphically, are linked to reports on the guest’s gut, circulatory, and immune systems, categorizing items as “priority,” “advisory,” or “consider.” A medical consultant at the center will review these results with the guest, providing further insight and guidance.

“The reports are a quick and effective way to obtain an overview of underlying issues,” said Ms Thanh Nguyen, Director of Spa and Wellness at Wafaifo. “The reports will suggest a plan of action to correct those challenges that are impacting the health of guests.”

Hyperbaric Chambers: The new wellness center at the resort offers sessions in AirPod hyperbaric chambers, providing heightened levels of oxygen and hydrogen. This exposure nurtures healing processes in the body, assisting in slowing the aging process, improving concentration, increasing energy and stamina, and aiding recovery from jet lag and stress.

Infrared Saunas and Ice Baths: The center also features infrared saunas to help lower blood pressure, promote detoxification, and aid in weight loss. Hygienic, electronically controlled ice baths are available to reduce blood pressure, improve circulation, flush toxins, and reduce inflammation and swelling.

Sleep Technology: Guests can enjoy a Nu Calm sleep and restoration experience in their room using a headset, eye mask, and specially-designed ‘anti-gravity’ chair to induce a meditative state of wellbeing and deep relaxation.

Advanced Gym and Personal Fitness Consultants: Wellness at Wafaifo boasts the most advanced gym in the UNESCO heritage city of Hoi An. Personal fitness consultants, trained on the Precor gym equipment used in the center, help guests achieve maximum benefits.

International Partnerships: Wafaifo Resort has partnered with Kerstin Florian for body treatments and facials, and Margaret Dabbs of London for luxury manicures and pedicures, adding world-class spa treatments to its offerings.

The resort is assembling a team comprising doctors, nurses, healers, and trainers to develop personalized wellness programs for each guest utilizing the facility.

In August, Wafaifo Resort will unveil the second phase of its innovative health and wellness services driven by technology, with the third phase scheduled for early 2025.
