COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM)— Health departments within the West Central Health District are offering parents an opportunity to get their children’s required vaccines before the back-to-school rush.
The vaccine event is named “Take Your Best Shot.”
Five health departments will extend their hours until 6 p.m. on July 23-25. They are providing vaccines, screenings, and forms.
The health departments participating are as follows:
- Columbus Health Department at 5601 Veterans Parkway
- Harris County Health Department at 210 Forest Hill Drive in Hamilton
- Sumter County Health Department 1601 North MLK Jr. Blvd, Suite 100 in Americus
- Dooly County Health Department at 204 West Union Street in Vienna
- Crisp County Health Department at 111 East 24th Avenue in Cordele
