A PLANE bound for Scotland was forced to U-turn and go back to Tenerife.
RyanAir flight FR2970 left the Spanish holiday spot on Sunday night around 8.45pm.

The flight was bringing holidaymakers back to Edinburgh when it encountered a technical fault.
Pilots were forced to turn the plane around and return to Tenerife South Airport.
Engineers began an inspection as the plane returned to the air hub.
They gave the plane the all clear and it set off on the journey to the Scots capital.
It touched down in Scotland around 1.10am this morning.
RyanAir reassured customers it was only a minor issue affecting the aircraft.
A spokesperson told Edinburgh Live: “This flight from Tenerife to Edinburgh (19 May) returned to Tenerife Airport shortly after take-off due to a minor technical issue.
“The aircraft was inspected by engineers and was cleared to return to service before departing for Edinburgh later that same day.”
