OKC Veterans Affairs Health Care System asks Lawton Veterans to use local VA clinic

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Health Care System is asking Veterans living in the Lawton-Fort Sill area to see how going to a local VA clinic can benefit them before trying a clinic which is outside the VA system.

The clinic the OKC VA health care system is asking Veterans to try is the Lawton Community Based Outpatient Clinic (LCBOC). The LCBOC serves Veterans in a number of different ways through various programs offered.

Many benefits are there for Veterans who use VA-based healthcare services compared to Community Care programs, according to the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Health Care System.

The organization lists the continuity of care as one of the most important benefits.
