Media’s lies on Biden’s mental health: Letters to the Editor — July 8, 2024

Must read

The Issue: Miranda Devine’s column on mainstream media’s coverup of President Biden’s cognitive decline.

Refreshingly, Miranda Devine reports the facts about President Biden’s drastic cognitive decline without equivocating (“Media saw it — for years!,” Miranda Devine, PostOpinion, July 4).

Kudos to her and The Post. By contrast, various other news outlets have engaged in biased political reporting on matters relating to the Democrats generally — and to President Biden in particular.

The false reporting and nondisclosures are a clear and present danger to our national security and may well qualify as treason.

The Democrats are liars and have been covering up for Biden since he took office.

The only person who thinks Joe Biden can perform his duties as president is himself. We all know he can’t, but Democratic leaders continue to insist that Biden is fit for office. It’s an insult to the American people.

The article spotlights what has been said repeatedly on the right.

The mainstream media and Democratic sycophants have turned a blind eye to Biden’s feebleness to deceive the American people.

First, we were told he was a stutterer. Then we witnessed him fall off a bike, up the stairs and even on stage. Long before this debate, he lost his way in speeches, shook hands with the air and had to be led off stage.

Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre then accused the media of creating “cheap fakes.” These are the same charlatans, by the way, who created the Russia hoax, lied about the laptop and fought tooth and nail to prevent Robert Hur’s audio from being released. It is time to wake up, America.

I love “Sleepy” Joe. I don’t want to see this plastic paddy, holier-than-thou cafeteria Catholic, granddaughter-denying, crackhead-enabling, money-grubbing, hypocritical grifter go.

Every day that President Biden is in office, and Democrats and their media supporters gaslight us, is another day that shows how corrupt, duplicitous and evil these people truly are.

For over three years, we have all seen President Biden’s sharp decline.

And yet, the phony media never uttered a peep. They were all in the tank for Biden and the Democratic Party. Journalists, they were not.

And as Miranda Devine specifically points out, Carl Bernstein, who did a bang-up job with Watergate, finally opened his mouth and said: “This is at least 15 times over 18 months that Joe has not functioned.” Bernstein obviously isn’t the reporter he used to be if it took him this long to speak up.

The entire liberal media establishment have failed their cult following. Next time, pick up The Post and get the facts before the liberal media swallows you up.

I think we have reached the point where we should no longer criticize the mainstream media for biased reporting. To do so would mean that we are disappointed when they fail to live up to our expectations of fairness, honesty and impartiality.

The sad truth is that the mainstream media gave up any pretense of such journalistic integrity many years ago. They are monolithically left-wing and not the least bit ashamed to gaslight the American people at every opportunity if it fits their agenda. If the media fooled you once, shame on them. If they fooled you twice, shame on you.

The power of the media has been and is alive and well. They are now turning on President Biden because of his dismal showing in the recent debate and his growing signs of dementia.

This is a media that always made excuses or refused to air his erratic behavior. A media that did not call out the president for his lack of press conferences.

And a media that saw the physical and mental decline of the leader of the free world and chose to keep the American people in the dark.
