LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – Mayor Dr. Victor D. Treviño is leading a special event aimed at helping senior citizens in Laredo stay healthy. On Monday, June 3 at Jarvis Plaza, the Senior Health Fair offers important medical services and activities to encourage good health among seniors.
The goal is to provide free check-ups like blood pressure tests, blood exams, and vaccinations, all to help seniors take better care of themselves. Mayor Dr. Treviño will also take a walk with the seniors to talk about staying active and feeling good.
Everyone is welcome – seniors, their helpers, and family members. No need to sign up beforehand. Jarvis Plaza is located at 1004 Matamoros Street. The event started at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m.
