LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – The Laredo Chamber of Commerce and its Small Business Committee announced the recipients of the 2024 Laredo Chamber Business ICONS Awards at a press conference on Tuesday morning, July 16.
The awards recognize individuals and businesses that contribute to the community’s economic development.
This year’s honorees are awarded in four categories:
- Business Person of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- Non-Profit Organization of the Year
- Health Care Business of the Year
Cliffe Killam, one of the recipients, expressed his gratitude for being named Business Person of the Year.
“It’s about supporting the Laredo Chamber of Commerce and the work that they do as well as recognizing all the great businesses here in town. We just happen to be in consideration this year, but there’s a lot of great business folks that are doing exciting things in the city of Laredo and Webb County,” said Killam.
