NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – In this edition of FFF: The Cowboys are the underachievers in Dallas, United States Men’s National Team announces their training camp roster for the Copa America, and where’s the meat at Chipotle.
FOOTBALL
Dallas is the center of the sporting universe right now. And no it has nothing to do with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Dallas Stars are in the Western Conference finals against the Edmonton Oilers. Dallas is the 1-seed in the West, and is the favorite to reach the Stanley Cup Finals.
In the same building the Dallas Mavericks are also in the Western Conference finals. They’re taking on the upstart Minnesota Timberwolves. Now the Mavs are underdogs, but have the experience factor.
The Metroplex also is also the holder of a World Series title right now. The Texas Rangers took down the Diamondbacks in five games.
Now if only the Cowboys could do something this fall. Not likely, they haven’t won a Super Bowl in 29 years!?
FÚTBOL
USMNT selected the 27 players for their training camp roster this week. This is in preparation for the Copa America.
U.S.A. will faceoff with Colombia and Brazil before the big tournament.
The U.S. will have a ton of firepower upfront for the summer matches. That includes (clubs in parentheses): Brenden Aaronson (Union Berlin), Folarin Balogun (Monaco), Ricardo Pepi (PSV Eindhoven), Christian Pulisic (AC Milan), Josh Sargent (Norwich City), Tim Weah (Juventus), and Haji Wright (Coventry City).
The final roster for the Copa America will be a minimum of 23 players with a maximum of 26 total.
FOOD
Chipotle has received a ton of heat on social media for the lack of meat in their burritos. I see it on Instagram and Tik Tok all the time.
Yes, I have been unimpressed in the past by the amount of steak in my burrito. I decided this week to see what all the buzz is about.
They’re all right. It’s still underwhelming. After eating my steak burrito I was still hungry. For the price, I need more protein in there.
It left me wondering where’s the beef?!
