FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. In partnership with Allen County Department of Health, a Fort Wayne Walgreens location will be offering free, confidential HIV testing on Thursday.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Walgreens location at 110 East Creighton Avenue will be offering free, confidential HIV testing. No appointments are necessary for the free, confidential HIV testing and results can be expected within a few minutes of a finger-stick, blood test.
In addition to free, confidential HIV testing, free hepatitis C testing will be available, with results in approximately 20 minutes.
Other locations for confidential HIV testing include the Allen County Department of Health Medical Annex.
